Kelowna Spring Break Gymnastics Camps and Drop-In Programs

Join us for fun filled days at our gymnastics spring break camps, parkour camps, tumbling and trampoline camps and drop-in program in our gymnastics facility.

All Spring Break Camps and drop-in activities are supervised by our friendly Gymnastics BC trained instructors who are focused on providing a safe and fun learning environment for everyone.

Online registration is now open for all spring camps! Registration for gymnastics camps and specialty clinics are below, please click here for our parkour camp registration. PLEASE NOTE: taxes and Gymnastics BC insurance will be additional.

No pre-registration is necessary for the drop-in programs.

Drop-In Programs

We offer the following Drop-In Programs:

  • Airtime Express Drop-In (ages 5-13, both Kelowna and West Kelowna) Monday – Friday from 12 noon – 2 pm
  • Jump, Hop & Roll Drop-In (walking age – 5 yrs) from 9:30 am – 11:30 am on Friday, March 20 & 27 (Kelowna and West Kelowna) +  Wednesday, March 25 (West Kelowna only)

Gymnastics Spring Break Camps 2020

Ages 5-12 years
Monday, March 16 – Thursday March 29 from 9:00 am – 11:30 am
Monday, March 23 – Thursday March 26 from 9:00 am – 11:30 am

4-Day: Cost $175/participant

This 4 day camp will include instruction on bars, beam, floor, and air track. We will work on gymnastics basics while incorporating games, team building exercises, and lots of FUN! Please bring a snack and water bottle. **Note that due to changes in insurance coverage for gymnastics activities, Gymnastics BC insurance will no longer permit the use of trampolines during camps.

Gymnastics Spring Break Specialty Clinics 2020

These specialized spring break clinics are designed for gymnasts to build skills for our classes in the spring! Focused & fun!!

Our clinics run from 2:30pm – 4pm (different clinics run on different days – please refer to the registration table for details)

Cost: $40/participant

Cartwheels & Round-offs
Ages 5-9 years

Students will move through progressions working towards mastery of cartwheels and round-offs. The instructor will utilize a variety of equipment and teaching methods to work on these particular skills while ensuring that students have a ton of FUN! No previous experience necessary!

Handstands & Rolls
Ages 5-9 years

Students will move through progressions working towards mastery of handstands and rolls. The instructor will utilize a variety of equipment and teaching methods to work on these particular skills while ensuring that students have a ton of FUN! No previous experience necessary!

Strength & Stretching
Ages 9-14 years

Students will come away with expanded ideas for improving their base of strength and flexibility for physical activity. The instructor will utilize a variety of equipment and teaching methods to work on these particular skills while ensuring that students have a ton of FUN!

Aerials, Walkovers, & Handstands
Ages 9-14 years

Students will move through progressions to learn/improve their aerials, walkovers, and handstands. Preferred prerequisite skills: bridge, cartwheel, and handstand.

Connections & Round Offs
Ages 9-14 years

Students will move through progressions to improve their skill connections and round-offs. Preferred prerequisite skills: dive roll, cartwheel, and handstand.

Back Tucks & Back Handsprings
Ages 9-14 years

Students will move through progressions to learn/improve their back tucks and back handsprings. Preferred prerequisite skills: round-off, dive roll, cartwheel, and handstand.

Front Tucks & Front Handsprings
Ages 9-14 years

Students will move through progressions to learn/improve their front tucks and front handsprings. Preferred prerequisite skills: round-off, dive roll, cartwheel, and handstand.

Kip Clinic
All Ages

Students will make progress towards performing a kip on bars. The kip is an important skill that is used as both a mount and an element or connecting skills in a bar routine.

Spring Break TnT 2Day Clinic
All Ages

This spring break clinic is designed for Beginner/Level I gymnasts who want to work towards mastery of specific skills. This particular clinic will take place over the course of two days at Kelowna Gymnastix. Students will learn front flips into the foam pit, swivel hips into the trampoline, and twisting skills.
